Preserve, promote and protect the use of performance dogs for the purposes of effective wildlife management, conservation of wildlife and through the responsible, ethical care and partnership with hounds.
WHO WE ARE
Houndsman XP is a widely-heralded weekly podcast designed to entertain and inform a previously ignored segment of the sporting dog community, hound hunters. Hosts interview guests from every walk of the hound-hunting sport, garnering more than 1,500,000 downloads in the time since the popular program’s introduction in May of 2019. Houndsman XP covers a wide range of topics to include; performance hound care and nutrition, legendary and iconic personalities within the outdoor community, the ethical pursuit of game animals using hounds, and the biological benefits of hunting with hounds.

Houndsman XP will never place a competitor’s ad in the same production space. When Houndsman XP was established, the decision was made that we would only attach our brand to high quality products that we, as discerning houndsmen, use ourselves.

MEET THE TEAM
Chris Powell
Founder / HostChris is a lifelong hunter, houndsman and wildlife management professional. Chris is retired from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, serving 28 years as a conservation officer and supervisor. He now travels the country with his hounds and pursues a variety of game animals with them and meets the dedicated outdoorsmen that share his passion for the houndsman lifestyle. Chris is a co-founder of an Indiana outdoor organization, the Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance, that is influential in conservation and legislative issues. Chris serves the Houndsman XP Team as owner, primary host, and producer.
Seth Hall
Patreon Manager / Host of "All Mixed Up"Hailing from the southern deserts, Seth is an enthusiast of all things hunting and the outdoors with a passion for hunting with Sighthounds. His Salukis and Greyhounds blaze across the desert plains after the noble Jackrabbit, leaving a trail of dust as they go! Seth is a Wildlife BIologist with the USDA which stems from his great love of wildlife, ecology, and the natural world. Seth is the host of All Mixed Up, the Patreon Manager, and a content contributor for Houndsman XP.
